Achievements

• Our children have participated in various district level, state level, national and international levels in Athletics, Cycling and team games.
• Suresh Prabhu with Down syndrome has an exceptional ability to memorise more than 230 mobile phone numbers. He is attempting LIMCA BOOK of RECORDS for the feat and has exceptional magic trick skills.
• Our student Shalini Shetty has broken all records in Shot Put and 200m sprint winning Silver and Bronze medals at International Special Olympics in the year 1999-2001 at RALLY of America where 126 countries participated.
• In 2003 in Ireland, Dublin Cycling we have worn silver and bronze medals.
• Our special children have won first and second prizes in Art and Drawing competitions arranged by various institutions.
• Kumari Yashoda Ramachandran has won silver and bronze medals in cycling event in District, State, National and International level. And also participated in Special Olympics in the year 2002-2003

Success Stories

Few of the trained students are now employed in various fields and Asha Nilaya is proud to have facilitated their learning. James Kundar, Naveen, Manju, Prafulla, Shivaprasad and Anitha are few of them who are living an independent respectful life which they rightfully deserve.
